GARDEN PLANS AT WHITEHALL TERRACE

A medicinal garden in the making

Whitehall Terrace gives us 1.5 acres to learn from and tend. We are planning a medicinal garden alongside the hillside garden: a place to grow herbs, notice how they change through the seasons, and share what we learn.

Working with the hillside

Our first task is to understand the slope and the plants already growing here. That will help us decide what to keep, where to plant, and how to care for the garden over time.

Learning with our hands

We want children and adults to take part in the work of a garden: observing, planting, and tending. The planting plan is still in development. We’ll share opportunities to join us when they are ready.
