Meet The Team

Moe Rivera
Moe Rivera is a Puerto Rico–born healer by way of the Bronx, New York. His family relocated to the Raleigh–Durham area in 1996, and he attended Southeast Raleigh High School—where, as a teenager, he helped build an afterschool program in Foxridge Manor in Raleigh. Based in Durham since 2005, Moe is a licensed massage therapist, dedicated practitioner, and co-founder of Bulltánica—a community-centered well-being initiative rooted in restoration, resilience, and care.
Moe’s path into healing is grounded in real-world service and relationship-building. Before fully committing to bodywork, he spent nearly a decade working in the electronic components industry at Arrow Electronics and TTI while pursuing a sales track—learning how to listen closely, communicate clearly, and show up with consistency. He also brings hospitality experience from Maggiano’s at Southpoint, where bartending and serving sharpened his ability to create an atmosphere that feels welcoming, attentive, and human.
With over two decades of hands-on experience, Moe’s mission is to guide people toward balance, recovery, and lasting relief. Specializing in deep tissue massage, sports massage, and manual lymphatic drainage, he blends technical precision with intuitive sensitivity—addressing chronic tension, inflammation, and pain while creating space for the nervous system to settle. Each session becomes a calm, focused dialogue between skilled touch and energetic presence.
Moe’s work goes beyond traditional bodywork. His approach is holistic and deeply personalized, recognizing that healing can include emotional, energetic, and spiritual layers—not just muscles and joints. He tailors every session to the individual, cultivating safety, trust, and renewal.
Committed to education and empowerment, Moe supports clients in building autonomy in their healing journeys. He shares practical, sustainable self-care—mindful breathing, intentional hydration, and targeted stretching—so progress continues beyond the massage table.
A graduate of Durham Neighborhood College—a City- and County-supported program centered on neighborhood advocacy and civic leadership—Moe has long believed that care is something we build together. That same neighborhood spirit unexpectedly opened a creative door: he was invited into the “Angry Neighbors With Paintball Guns” community moment in Durham, and that connection led to an extra role in the film Main Street—the spark that kicked off his acting journey. His screen work includes Main Street, We Love You, Murder Calls, and JAMS.
As a father, practitioner, and community advocate, Moe lives what he teaches: intentional well-being as a daily practice, and care as something we strengthen in ourselves and in the communities we belong to.

Alley Crosson-Taylor
Alicia has dedicated her professional life to supporting families in their journey through
parenthood. She has provided support in various positions and organizations centered
around early childhood education for over 15 years – in positions ranging from early
interventionist to inclusive preschool program manager. In order to fully support families,
Alicia became a Certified Labor Doula in addition to a Certified Infant Feeding
Specialist. Most recently, Alicia added Certified VBAC Specialist to her credentials as a
way to help clients navigate the nuances of vaginal birth after cesarean. Alicia’s desire
to support expecting and postpartum families emerged as she embarked on her
parenting journey in 2016. She marveled at the various resources available throughout
pregnancy. She found that support and resources became much more nuanced once
baby is born and understands how that can feel overwhelming, or downright lonely, at
times.
As the 4th generation of birth worker in her family, she understands how important birth
work is as it supports the very beginning of the family experience.
When she is not supporting families, Alicia can be found creating organic tea blends
and spending time with her amazing husband and superstar kiddos.
Through relationship building and attuning to each client’s needs, Alicia provides
detailed and attentive educational, emotional, and physical support to families
throughout pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period.
